Intro:
For the summer wedding of a very special couple with 1000 guests, HIRE-A-DANCER.COM were asked to supply spectacular interactive entertainment for the outdoor drinks reception. The theme and colour scheme were vitally important to the couple and were the elements which they wanted brought to life through the entertainment.
Brief:
The client had a set budget to work with and requested a Victorian Circus themed act which said classy, elegant and intrigue.

Bringing it to life (in detail):
On this occasion, the client helpfully had a very clear vision for the colour scheme and theme from the start and they wanted to be fully involved in the costume design process as the plans came together. From their descriptions, our costume design team were able to come up with designs based on the colour scheme: burgundy with a hint of antique gold.
The designs were discussed and adapted until the client was completely happy and we then sent material swatched to them by post for sign off before making began. That way the client had complete reassurance of the quality throughout the process.
Choosing the entertainment (in detail):In the details of the brief, the client had talked about the importance of having entertainment to appeal to all the family - something to keep the children occupied and something to be appreciated by the older generation.
By choosing the Contact Juggler they had an act to get up close to and to hold the children's attention. With the Stilt Walker and Aerial Hoop artists, they had acts to watch from a distance without interrupting the flow of conversation.
Finally the Showgirls were able to tie the acts in with the band by bringing the music to life and therefore creating a whole atmosphere within the outdoor reception area.
